The historic Johann Graue Hall at Nederburg in Paarl recently hosted the Veritas Wine Awards judging. Over a week, 20 of our Cape Wine Masters convened, tasted and evaluated over 1250 wines that entered the Veritas Competition. The judges need extensive wine knowledge and meticulous palates to assess & score the wines. Veritas also invited four international wine judges to join our local expertise this year, enriching the judging process. This combination of local and global palates was made possible by the partnership between Veritas and Dry Ice International, South Africa’s foremost dry ice supplier.
As the judging week wraps up today, we are excited about the announcement of the winners. To honour the significance and magnificence of the event, the outcomes will be revealed during a formal, black-tie celebration at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on 13 October 2023. We are eagerly anticipating this significant evening with great excitement and expectations!
