I have a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology and Communication. I worked in sales and marketing in the hospitality industry before starting a family and becoming a stay-at-home Mom. I live in Durban, am married and have two children.
My interest in wine began after I completed the Cape Wine Academy Introduction to South African Wine Course in 2009. I then went on to complete the Certificate Course (2011), the Diploma Course (2015) and now the Cape Wine Master qualification. I lecture for the Cape Wine Academy in Durban and in Richards Bay and after attaining a Christina Martin Cordon Bleu Certificate, I also teach cookery classes from home.
Travel, food and entertaining, reading and all types of music are my main interests.
